REFUND POLICY

Digital Goods

Comics purchased on Gutterspace are digital goods delivered instantly upon purchase. Because digital content cannot be "returned" once accessed, all sales are generally non-refundable.

Exceptions

We will consider refund requests in the following cases:

  • Duplicate purchases — If you were accidentally charged twice for the same comic, we will refund the duplicate charge.
  • Technical issues — If a purchased comic is unreadable due to a platform error (corrupted files, pages not loading) and we cannot resolve the issue, a refund may be granted.
  • Unauthorized purchases — If your account was compromised and unauthorized purchases were made, contact us immediately.
  • Significantly misleading listing — If a comic's content is substantially different from what was described or advertised by the creator.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at hello@gutterspace.io with "Refund Request" in the subject line.
  2. Include your account email and the comic title or transaction ID.
  3. Describe the reason for your request.

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase. We aim to review all requests within 3–5 business days.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and returned to the original payment method. It may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Impact on Creators

When a refund is issued, the corresponding creator payout is adjusted. Creators are not charged additional fees for legitimate refunds. However, we monitor for refund abuse and may take action against patterns that indicate fraud.
